PASTOR ATTACKED IN ANDHRA PRADESH

Hindu extremists from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) assaulted a Pastor and seriously injured him on March 11 in Pathur village, Medak, Andhra Pradesh.
The extremists’ attacked Pastor Ezra Krupanamdam from Bethesda Prathana Mandiram on his way back home after conducting a prayer meeting at a believer’s place.
The extremists verbally abused the Pastor for his faith, started beating and stomping on him and warned him not to conduct future prayer meetings.
The Pastor was found lying in a pool of blood and was rushed to a hospital. Doctor’s investigation showed that the Pastor suffered fractured in his spinal cord and ribs.
The Pastor received treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
The extremists were arrested under 341, 324, 153(a) to be read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code for wrongful restraint, causing hurt, promoting enmity on grounds of religion with acts done in furtherance of common intention respectively.
