If anyone is in Christ, he is a New Creation, Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. - (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We desire to teach foundational truths from God's word, the Bible, to you as a new Christian in order to help you begin your walk with Jesus. The Bible tells us that no one comes to Jesus unless God the Father draws them (John 6:44). Therefore, you have found favor in God's eyes to be called and drawn. Now it should be your desire to be changed into the image of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This class will help you get started in this direction.
"New Creations" is three-week classes where you will be taught from God's word so that, as is said in 1st Thessalonians 2:12-13: "You would have a walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the Word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

God Calls Us To Trust In Him:
Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
God Directs Us To Love Him:
Matthew 22:37: Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind ."
How do we as limited humans trust and love an eternal God? To trust someone you must have confidence in that person. To love someone you need to have a personal relationship with him or her. We need to truly know and understand someone before we can trust or love him or her.
God sets forth three methods for us to know and understand Him:
 Through reading His word, the Bible.
Through prayer.
Through fellowship with God and other believers.
We will begin our study by focusing on these three methods.
